But before I lay you
my pitch, let me tell you more about my business. I pretty much
have been making websites since 2002 and have been selling great
products online with my websites since then. Internet is just
fun to me and I love it :). When I sell to my customers, I try
and make sure they're 100% happy with my product and I make sure
im selling a great product that works well. In a nut shell,
it's always best to keep your customers happy then to make an
enemy.

So here's what I came
across.....it's actually a company that allows you to create a
website pretty quickly. I think it's awesome as I signed up for one
myself. I can tell you one thing regarding selling online, you
can never have to many websites once you get to selling. Also for
a beginning website, it is really awesome as it will teach you the basics
of creating your very own website as well as logging into your
very own Control Panel.
(Control Panel is where you will
be able to work on your website, check e-mails and learn all
about this amazing program).
Now I have about 20 websites at the moment and there is a
process to getting them set up (not the easiest thing in the
world).
Let me explain the process.
Domain Name = www.examplewebsite.com = it cost about
14.00 a year to own a domain name.
Hosting your website = cost about $12 to $24 a month all
depending what you get.
This is how it works, you would be issued a "Control Panel" for
the
Domain Name and the
Hosting Account,
(A "Control Panel" is similar to an e-mail
account its going to be a place where you can change things up). (1) The first thing you
would do is find a domain company and "register" a "domain
name". (2) The second thing would be is find a hosting company
and register with them. Of course you will need that Domain Name
you just registered so when the hosting account gets set up they
will set up that name. The last thing you will need to do is go
back to your Domain Account and input the the Domain Server
Information so that the domain name points to the hosting
company.
Host Account <--------->Domain Name
It's really not that hard after doing the process a few times.
But the problem is that there's nothing on the website and you
need a program to start editing your site you
just got set up. |
